March 26, 2017. Fourth Sunday of Lent.

News and Notes: Here is an update on the 2017 Catholic Appeal:  As of March 6, Our Lady’s families had pledged $25,420 which is 43% of the OLA goal; St. Maria’s families had pledged $11,795, which is 32% of the SMG goal.  If you have not yet made a pledge to this year’s Catholic Appeal, please do so soon (by filling out a pledge card that is available at the entrances of our churches or going online to, and help support the 50+ Central Ministries of our local Church as well as your own parish.  Once again this year, if a particular parish exceeds its fair share assessment, that parish will receive back 60% of the excess funds donated to the Catholic Appeal.  Many thanks to our Catholic Appeal Coordinators Victor and Janine Saldanha at OLA, and Caterina Benitez at SMG for their leadership in promoting the 2017 Appeal in our Collaborative.

Don’t forget some upcoming Lenten events:

Movie Monday following the 9AM Mass on March 27 at OLA;

Ladies Tea: Fill My Cup, an Afternoon of Reflection led by Jaymie Wolfe, from 12Noon to 3PM on April 1 at SMG;

Witness Talk Night, featuring our own parishioners on Thursday, April 6 at 6:30PM at SMG.

Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
