March 18, 2018. Fifth Sunday of Lent.

News and Notes: Thanks to the parishioners from both parishes who have already made a pledge to the 2018 Catholic Appeal, the annual Archdiocesan campaign to raise funds that will support over 50 Central Ministries of the Catholic Church in Eastern Massachusetts.  If you have not done so already, please fill out a pledge card you can find at the entrances of our churches and drop it off or send it to our Lynnfield Catholic Collaborative Office at 17 Grove St. or go online to www.bostoncatholicappeal.org and make a pledge. Every donation, big or small, helps your particular parish reach its goal.

Next Sunday is Palm Sunday of the Passion of the Lord.  There will be a second collection at all Masses next weekend to support the Music Ministry in our Collaborative.  Your donation will ensure that our musicians, cantors, and choirs can continue to enhance our liturgies with beautiful music.  The one and only collection at the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Masses will be for the Clergy Funds, to support the retirement, medical and financial needs of the priests of the Archdiocese.  If you would like to make an Easter donation to your parish, we ask that you indicate your intention clearly on an envelope or in the memo line of your check.    As always, heartfelt thanks for your faithful and generous stewardship of your spiritual home…and blessings to you in the week ahead!
