News and Notes:  Fr. Tony and I are celebrating the first anniversary of our arrival as your priests, and of the inauguration of our Collaborative.  This Sunday (6/8), we are hosting an Open House for St. Maria Goretti parishioners at our residence following the 10AM Mass at SMG; next Saturday (6/14), we are hosting an Open House for Our Lady of the Assumption parishioners at the Pastoral Business Office Building following the 4PM Mass at OLA.  All are welcome to join us for light fare and fellowship.  Sincere thanks and best wishes go to Kate Sullivan, our longtime eighth grade teacher at OLA school, who is retiring after 40 years of service to our children’s formation in the classroom and beyond.  We wish her good health and happiness as she begins a new chapter of her life.  Blessings to all of you in the week ahead!
