June 24, 2018. The Nativity of St. John the Baptist.

News and Notes:  As is our custom, we will be suspending the 5PM Sunday Mass at St. Maria Goretti Parish beginning next Sunday July 1 through September 2.  The 5PM Mass at SMG will resume on Sunday, September 9.

Here is the latest update on the 2018 Catholic Appeal:  as of June 8, SMG families had pledged $42,380, which 112% of their goal of $37,831.67; and OLA families had pledged $56,692, which is 91% of their goal of $62,342.50. Many thanks to all of those who have already made their pledge!  If you have not yet made a pledge to this year’s Catholic Appeal, simply fill out one of the pledge cards located at the entrances of our churches, and place it in the Offertory collection basket or drop it off at our Collaborative Office Building at 17 Grove St. in Lynnfield or mail it to your respective parish.  Both parishes will receive about 50 cents of every dollar of paid pledges over their particular fair-share assessment.

Blessings to all of you in the summer days ahead!
