December 18, 2016. Fourth Sunday of Advent

News and Notes: All are welcome this Sunday morning December 18 to the Priests’ Residence at St. Maria Goretti Parish for a pre-Christmas gathering following the 10 o’clock Mass at SMG. If you have not yet celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation this Advent, Monday evening December 19 is your opportunity.  Fr. Tony and I will be available, one of us in each church’s Reconciliation Room, from 6:30-7:30PM or until every confession has been heard.  The Lynnfield Collaborative Children’s Choir, better known as “Angels in the Morning” will be leading song on Christmas Eve at the 4PM Mass in OLA Church.

The Christmas Mass Schedule is as follows:

4PM Christmas Eve: OLA Church and OLA School Cafeteria

4PM Christmas Eve: SMG Church (live streaming of this Mass available in the SMG Church Hall and on our Collaborative website)

6:30PM Christmas Eve: SMG Church

9AM Christmas Day: OLA Church

10AM Christmas Day: SMG Church

11AM Christmas Day: OLA Church

Please note: There is no 7AM Mass at OLA or 5PM Mass at SMG on Christmas Day.  Next weekend, New Years Eve and New Years Day, we celebrate the Solemnity of Mary, the Holy Mother of God.  The Mass schedule will be the same as an ordinary weekend except there will be no 5PM Mass on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

Blessings to all of you in this last week of Advent!
