August 24, Twenty First Sunday in Ordinary Time

News and Notes:  Our Lady’s Hospitality Committee is starting a new social event, a monthly Pasta Dinner, on Saturday, September 13 following the 4PM Mass in the OLA Church Hall.  For a modest donation (suggested offerings are $5 per person; $7 per couple; and $10 per couple with children), all are welcome to join us for food and fellowship.  If you have not registered your child for Religious Education classes this year, please do so as soon as possible, so we can prepare well for the opening of classes the first weekend of October in both parishes.  For your convenience, registration forms can be found on our website; and this year, if you wish, OLA parishioners can cross-register their children in classes conducted at SMG, and vice versa, class size permitting.  With our talented team of grade-level Coordinators leading the way, this promises to be a wonderful year of faith formation for our children!  Don’t forget our Collaborative Barbeque on Sunday, September 21 following the 10AM Mass at St. Maria Goretti Parish.  Bring a salad or desert to share with others.  The Knights of Columbus will be grilling hot dogs and hamburgers, and the parishes will provide the liquid refreshment. There will be fun and games for everyone…blessings to you in the remaining summer days!
